Fever Pitch Productions presents

Written and performed by Charmaine Mancil
Fresh from the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, actress and caberet singer Charmaine Mancil brings her on-woman show to Los Angeles. Ms. Mancil retells the life of the late blues singer, Ethel Waters, touching on her family, her loves, and her career, utilizing many of the songs that Waters made famous to illuminate the story. Never one to explain herself too fully, Ethel Waters' work and songs oftentimes said more about her feelings than she did. However, for one evening, Charmaine Mancil as Ethel Waters shares with the audience parts of her triumphant, sometimes sad, and yet, ultimately, joyous life.
