Some changes are underway at the Edge of the World Theater Festiva. After five years of steady growth the Board of Directors of EdgeFest has set its sights on creating an internationally recognized event in 2005, one that will become a cultural tourism "destination" in the tradition of Edinburgh and Spoleto.
In order to prepare for this enormous undertaking, EdgeFest will not present the traditional Edge of the World Theater Festival in 2004. Instead we will be presenting two special events showcasing the work of some of LA's most innovative and creative theater companies:
the Fifth Annual LA History Project; and,
the "EdgeFetish" Marathon, highlights from some of the outstanding productions presented during the first five years of the Edge of the World Theater Festival.
